​BASF commissions a production site for Construction Chemicals in Dar es Salaam

Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, February 27, 2018 – BASF, the world's leading chemical company and a leading manufacturer of construction chemicals is strongly investing in local production and has opened a production plant in Tanzania. The plant which will be producing Admixtures for concrete, will be run through a tolling agreement and will provide innovative solutions to enable BASF meet customer requirements.

With the new plant, BASF Construction Chemicals will strengthen its reach to even more customers, respond effectively to market demands while providing high quality solutions for the construction industry. "This investment is another very important step for BASF in Africa.
