What solution did we provide?
Master Builders Solutions offered the solution of strengthening
the basement columns by jacketing using MasterEmaco® S443.
MasterBrace® ADH 1414 was used as the bonding agent. The
steel cages were protected with MasterEmaco® 8100AP. For
shear walls, stainless steel plates were imbedded using the resin
of MasterSeal® 915 or MasterBrace® ADH 2200 depending on the
thicknesses required. Shear walls were repaired and made level
by using MasterEmaco® N907 with anti- carbonation properties.
MasterTop® 548 and MasterTop® 500 were used for screeding
and leveling in areas where traditional screed could not meet
the low thickness requirements. To level the floor, MasterTop®
528 was applied on top of MasterTop® 548. MasterTop® 528
was also used in other areas where the requirement was for an
underlayment thickness of up to 5mm.
Efficient watering of the substrate and covering of the screeds
with plastic sheets directly after application ensured sufficient
hydration (strength) for low application thickness and temperature
conditions.
MasterTile® RSG 705 was used as a tile grout in the cold
room, kitchens and food areas due to its durability, hygienic
characteristics and resistance to low temperatures.
