BASF launches new MasterPolyheed® 1500/1505 for high performance concrete.
Tokyo, Japan – May 25, 2015 – On June 1, 2015, BASF will launch MasterPolyheed®, a new air entraining water reducing agent that enhances the performance of concrete.
Aggregates remain a necessary building material. The shortage of high quality aggregate resources has become a serious issue for the construction industry in Japan. Consequently, the industry has to utilize aggregates of poor quality and other new materials that are readily available. To meet these industry challenges, BASF is launching MasterPolyheed 1500/1505, which is an effective solution to improve the quality of aggregates for concrete.
MasterPolyheed 1500/1505 reduces concrete bleeding by as much as 50% when compared to conventional technology. Formulated with BASF’s unique technology, MasterPolyheed 1500/1505 makes it possible to produce high quality durable concrete even when mixing with different raw materials combinations.
