The background
PepsiCo India Holdings has set up a state-of-the-art bottling plant in the industrial area in Marathwada with an investment of Rs 25 crore. The plant, for carbonated and non-carbonated beverages, with a capacity of 600 bottles per minute, is the fourth similar facility already developed at Roha in Raigad district and two in Mumbai.
The challenge
The plant's existing floors lined with AR tiles were facing issues with regular breaking and required frequent maintenance. It also has numerous joints which are proven difficult to maintain required hygiene standards. Moreover, failing floors are not aesthetically pleasing. Time, hygiene and aesthetics the three parameters where the customer faced problems.
Our solution
Master Builders Solutions was commissioned to solve this issue and a total of 4,000m2 of Ucrete flooring were applied at the plant. The Master Builders Solutions team segregated the entire plant, activity-wise, in 17 different areas of operations where we recommended Ucrete MF and Ucrete UD 200 depending on the nature of floor usage. The proposal was systematically presented by giving solutions to the customers' issues and how it will benefit the customer.
