Introduction of Ucrete at the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers
Members from Construction Systems at BASF Hong Kong were invited to give an introductory seminar about the world's toughest floor, Ucrete at the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE) on 20 April 2016.
The Hong Kong Institution of Engineers regularly holds different seminars of different topics to update their member's knowledge, trend and information. The seminar has attracted over 30 engineers from different industries and they were impressed with the flooring effects of Ucrete.
"Engineers are eager to learn the proven product/solutions to overcome various problems they are facing day-to-day, particularly during the design and maintenance stage. We are invited by the HKIE to present our Ucrete products and to share our product and experience with the engineers." said by Mr. Vincent Tsang, Manager from Construction Systems, BASF Hong Kong.
Engineers responsible for the facilities management are always facing with defective floors that are difficult or impossible to fix. Ucrete flooring system was introduced to the engineers as an option for both new and repair application. The seminar also reviewed the key factors to be considered in the flooring system selection for durability and longevity in mind.
