​EIFS Solutions Contributing to Green Building Innovations

The RAK Research and Innovation Centre awarded for Green Building Innovation by the EmiratesGBC with the use of BASF System

The RAK Research and Innovation Center from the American University of Ras AlKhaimah, was awarded under the best Green Building Innovation category with their Solar Calorimeter Test Facility. This facility proves that the use of EIFS Systems reduces the heat flux in a building by an average of 22-75%. Four cubical rooms were installed with the technical recommendations of BASF, each of them having a different technology on the south wall. The cube with BASF Senergy EIFS systems proved to be the best insulated structure.
