• Second plant in Vietnam serves growing market for skyscrapers and large-scale infrastructure projects

Hanoi, Vietnam – April 29, 2016 – Master Builders Solutions today inaugurated its new production plant for concrete admixtures in the northern province of Bắc Giang, Vietnam. The new plant will allow us to better meet the increasing demands for high quality construction chemicals products in Vietnam.

"The new plant enhances our flexibility to serve our customers with a timely supply and shorter lead times, especially in the northern part of Vietnam," said Mr. Christian Mombaur, Senior Vice President, Construction Chemicals Asia Pacific, Master Builders Solutions. "Northern Vietnam is continuing its path of rapid urbanization and industrialization. Our new Bắc Giang plant will enable us to stay closer to our customers and offer solutions to meet the growing demands in specialized construction chemicals, especially for building multi-story buildings and long-lasting infrastructure construction projects."

Located at the Vân Trung Industrial Park in Bắc Giang province, the plant is equipped with production units, a laboratory for product quality control as well as warehousing facilities. There, Master Builders Solutions produces both standard and custom-made performance admixtures from the MasterGlenium® product line under the Master Builders Solutions® brand. The company's construction chemicals have been used in many popular construction projects such as the Nội Bài T2 Airport and the Nhật Tân Bridge.

Bắc Giang plant is strategically located at about 60 kilometers from Hanoi, with close proximity to Hải Phòng sea port and Nội Bài airport, the largest facilities of their kind in northern Vietnam. This is Master Builders Solutions's second construction chemicals plant in Vietnam, complementing the existing plant in Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park, Binh Duong province.
