Master Builders Solutions expands shotcrete portfolio as local distribution partner for Putzmeister machinery in Hong Kong

Hong Kong, China, 9 November 2021 – Master Builders Solutions Hong Kong Limited, a member of the MBCC Group, and Putzmeister South East Asia Pte Ltd., a member of the Sany Group, have joined forces to address shotcreting construction demands in Hong Kong and Macau. As an industry leader for construction chemicals, Master Builders Solutions caters for the construction, maintenance, repair, and renovation of structures. Putzmeister is a global leader in construction and mining. The partnership will deliver reliable, high-quality machines for pumping, distributing, and placing concrete, mortar, and high-density solids. The partnership agreement was officially signed on 1 November 2021.

In combination with Putzmeister's core value of quality manufacturing, the partnership will enhance construction quality and durability in end-users' site-based applications.
Putzmeister Underground Construction (PUC), one of Putzmeister's two major product lines, offers shotcrete machines and concrete pumps for medium and large-sized tunnels and mining vehicles for shotcrete conveyance and logistics underground. The other product line, Putzmeister Concrete Technology (PCT), comprises concrete delivery and mixing technology for surface construction work, ranging from truck-mounted and stationary concrete pumps to mobile belt conveyors and truck mixers. The upcoming Shatin Underground Cavern construction project, which aims to enhance the utilization of underground space in Hong Kong, will employ a permanent sprayed concrete approach as part of a rock reinforcement design methodology.
