Extra high-strength thixotropic concrete repair mortar
For the most demanding structural concrete repairs, you need a high-performance mortar that performs to meet class R4 requirements. Designed with this in mind, high-performance mortar MasterEmaco S 5400 can be used at a thickness of 5mm to 50 mm in a single layer, without any need for extra reinforcement.
Where to use MasterEmaco S 5400
MasterEmaco S 5400 is a highly thixotropic, high-modulus repair mortar for a multitude of high-strength structural repairs to class R4. This versatile, ready-to-use mortar can be hand, trowel or spray applied; when mixed with water, it can be used on:
- Horizontal, vertical and overhead areas
- Bridge columns, piers and cross beams
- Sewerage and water treatment facilities
- Marine structures
- Structures below ground: tunnels, pipes and outfalls, particularly in difficult ground conditions
- Chimneys, cooling towers and other industrial environments
MasterEmaco S 5400 is also compatible with cathodic protection systems.
What makes MasterEmaco S 5400 different?
MasterEmaco S 5400’s high modulus and bond with concrete ensure load transfer, and its highly thixotropic mortar properties mean there’s no need for secondary reinforcement. Its performance contributes significantly to longer structure life, using new nanotechnology to minimise cracking and maximise water and chloride impermeability, sulphate resistant and carbonation resistance.
What is MasterEmaco S 5400?
This thixotropic mortar contains special cements, well-graded sands, carefully selected additives and fibres that reduce shrinkage and give excellent application properties.
