MasterSeal M 689

MasterSeal M 689 is a highly elastic, solvent-free, ultra-fast curing, spray-applied polyurea membrane for waterproofing applications where a high degree of chemical resistance is important. This includes sewage effluent and secondary containment bunds within the water treatment and chemical and sectors. MasterSeal M689 is also suitable for waterproofing roofs and areas exposed to mechanical loads. 

​​​	Spray Applied ​MasterSeal M 689 is highly reactive and must be applied by two-component spray equipment which initiates a quick reaction and ensures the rapid and safe application of the membrane.
​	Fast Hardening ​Fast hardening: Sets in a few seconds and is ready for pedestrian traffic or recoating after 30 minutes. Full exposure to chemicals after 24 hours.
​	Chemical Resistance ​MasterSeal M 689 demonstrates a high resistance to several chemicals (tested according EN 13529 and certified according to WHG, the German Federal Water Resources Act) maintaining its tightness even when liquids are pressurized. Yellowing or discoloration at outdoor use does not reduce performance.
​	​Mechanical Resistance High abrasion and impact resistance. Can be directly exposed to vehicular traffic.
​	​Crack Bridging Extraordinary crack-bridging and elastic properties.  Remains elastic even at low temperatures (Class B4.2 @-20ºC).​
​	Methane ​Methane tight: Prevents methane leakages in biogas installations.
​	Service Life ​Under normal service conditions, the system will provide a durable roof waterproofing with a service life in excess of 25 years.  Class W3 according ETAG 005.​
​	Root Resistance ​Permanent resistance against penetration and perforation by plant roots. Can be used in user load category P4 (inverted roofs, roof gardens and green roofs).
