The Saudi Arabian Mining Company (Ma’aden) intends to develop the Umm Wu’al Phosphate Project in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This project is based on the exploitation and processing of the Al Khabra phosphate deposit and the utilization of captive natural resources in the northern region of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), and is taking advantage of the existing and planned railway infrastructure, linking the phosphate deposits of Umm Wu’al area in the northern region with the Industrial City of Ras Al Khair on the Arabian Gulf.
