How does MasterPozzolith RT 300 work?

MasterPozzolith RT 300 is a ready-to-use liquid admixture for making better, more uniform and more predictably high quality concrete.  It retards the setting time to facilitate placing and finishing.  Concrete meeting architectural, structural and construction requirements is obtained more dependably and economically with MasterPozzolith RT 300.  MasterPozzolith RT 300 meets and exceeds the requirements of AS1478 Type WRRe and ASTM C 494 Type B and D admixtures. 

Recommended uses:

• MasterPozzolith RT 300 admixture is recommended for use in all types of concrete where retardation of set and improved performance (particularly improved pumpability) are required or desired.
• MasterPozzolith RT 300 admixture improves pumped concrete, shotcrete (wet mix) and conventionally placed concrete; it improves plain, reinforced, precast, prestressed, lightweight or standard weight concrete. 
• It can be used in white or coloured concrete. 
• MasterPozzolith RT 300 can be used with air-entraining agents approved under AS 1478 Specifications when air-entrained concrete is specified or desired. 
• Master Builders Solutions approved air-entraining admixture MasterAir is recommended for use with MasterPozzolith RT 300 admixture when air-entrained concrete is specified or desired.
  When used in conjunction with another admixture each admixture must be dispensed separately into the mix.

While MasterPozzolith RT 300 entrains negligible air, it improves the efficiency of most air-entraining admixtures and will generally result in the need for less air-entraining admixture.
