Steel Fibers for Concrete Reinforcement
Steel fiber is a low carbon, cold-drawn wire fiber manufactured in compliance with ASTM A820/A820M. The result is crack control and an extended service life of the concrete. Steel fibers provide higher energy absorption and increases concrete ductibility. They are specifically engineered for use as shrinkage and temperature (secondary) reinforcement and provide excellent plastic shrinkage control and reduced settlement cracking.
